Fairmont - I Want To See The Sun Come Up

Being that I'm not a minimal fan really, Fairmont is a project that has really caught my interest. Every now and then I like to do a minimal/chillout set, and it's usually comprised of many Holden tracks, be him considered minimal or not; I know many genre-finicky people will comment about that.. Fairmont has a very Holden-esque sound, yet maintains a distinct yet hard-to-pinpoint difference of minimal obscurity..

The latest release includes

Fairmont - I Want To See The Sun Come Up

A beautiful number with chilling vocal samples that fit in just so.

Fairmont - Walk To The Water

A little more uptempo with what sounds like a harpsichord or some instrument of the like maintaining a loopy melody.

Fairmont - Let's Stay Young Forever

Darker, definitely has a minimal overtone to it. Haunting melody.

Great release for me

All in all, I'll say a 7.5/10.
