Its a great player, with great Creative sound quality. Its pretty much like the iPod, but I am a huge Creative fan, due to the sound quality.
If actually want something that plays videos, get it. If you want something more simple with a removable battery, get the Creative Zen Mirco Photo.
whats the point of a removable battery anyhow? can i not recharge it?

i have the zen mirco 6 gig. wicked player with awsome sound. so far i've gotten about 6 hours out of the battery
it says 12 but that was on its first charge so we'll see

Two reasons:
1) If you are like me, and travel a lot, I like to take extra batteries with me. When i go away fro the weekend or camping or to a cottage, i take 3 batteries with me, giving me about 30-40 hours of playback
2) If you start to become unhappy with the performance of the battery, as overtime it will lose its ability to hold a charge, you can swap it out yourself, rather than sending it to Creative to do it yourself.
