REVIEW: Mark O & Sydney Blu at Beba 19.01.06

since there is no review thread yet, i thought i'd start

this night killed. so many faces..unexpected ones too (cereal3825..steve (soo happy for your dad and cath!!), tyler..you came you left..wtf?? and sean..seriously, who shows up at 2.45, but glad you did. we've missed you)

sydney blu did an awesome set. she is such a cool chick (josh..wink wink) we were off to a slow start, but when mark hit the decks (DAMN ) we dominated. i know i shouldn't complain about the heat because we all know how brutal beba is, but FUCK!! it was disgusting. you'll all see on the pics, but there was literally rivers of sweat flowing down my body. it was messy. however that was not enough to get me off the floor!

so bad at IDing, esp house, which isn't my first love, so ya, um

oasis - wonderwall (mikey, did u get the name of that mix)
and closing with OMIGOD
what else is there - royksopp (jacques lu conte mix) i died a 1000 deaths at this one. thanks mark!

can someone give me the name of the song that mark was singing alone with. lyrics roughly went like "i don't want nobody, i don't nobody else..i just want your body...etc"

i could be brutalizing, so if anyone has any idea. i know its a popular one..but again, i don't know my house

great time last night!

I spent 20 minutes parking my car, got lost twice, thank you for directions guys, lol, finally got there @ 11:25.
It's been my first time at beba lounge and I should say this place is quite different from everything else. Seems like evreyone knows each other, it's nice and intimate, not very sketchy, but disgustingly hot! Have you ever tried dancing your ass off in sauna? That's what we were doing for four hours last night!

Both Sidney and Mark were making the place even hotter with some sick sick melodic house. I havent seen MO having so much fun @ the decks before. Great night in terms of music!

Tyler, I just couldnt believe my eyes, even though, deep inside, I knew you were gonna make it! It was so nice to see you bro! thank you for the drink!
Kelly, omg hun! All of us know that you have some crazy unique moves, but yesterday you just amazed me! How can u move THAT fast?
Dennis, +20 C? HELL NO! it was good to see you and your girl last night. I really wish I could make it to Purple Room tonight. *sighs*

I agree with Sasha ... the staff was very nice ... i did not have change for cover and the door man didnt have change either so i said i will go to the store and get change and he just politely said " why dont you go inside and get a drink and then come give me cover "
