It doesnt have kill switches, but denon dn-x1500 will cost you less than the djm600, very comparable too

I think the next question is how many channels are you after?

I'm assuming you want individual channel level meters? I can't think of any mixer with pan AND channel level meters. Except for mixers with the pan effect, which kinda sucks.

The best mixer I can think of with pan is the Rane Empath, alas, no individual level meters. On the lower end, the Vestax VMC-180 has pan, but no meters at all.

Pan is a pretty rare feature on high-end mixers.

great mixer

1. level meters
2. channel gains
3. kill switches or -26db 3-channel eq
4. pan capability
5. split cue (perhaps with fader)

your best choice is a numark 3002x or 2002x .. i have the 30002.. check it out on numark.com

its a 3ch mixer, 3 channel kill, 3 channel 3eq, has level gains on each, plus a master gain. has pan, booth control, takes 3 line, 3 phono and a mic input.. has efx out if you have an outboard efx processor. has great cuing.. can do split (one to each side), or fade between program--cue, or monitor multiple channels with one ear, and a master with another..

i picked mine up for about $200-300 but i'm sure you can find one for about $100 or so on ebay. I might be selling mine soon to upgrade to xone, so if u want, drop me a pm if you cant find one...
