Yeah i think just about anyone would love one, given its £1395 price tag i don think to many of us will be able to afford one tho. Still havent heard a UK release date set in stone yet, I last heard around March 2006. If anyone hears anymore news please let us know
hopefully this will bring down the pricetag of the 92

I'm sure it's going to be terrific, but I'd definitely wait to see a review or two on something like this before dropping the cash... A&H pwns, I just get wary... But yes, if people say that the mixer is as quality as a 92 and the MIDI controller is easy to use and reliable, I'd definitely like to add one ot my setup...

The thing I dont like about it, is that the midi controlls dont look too adaptable. I wish they had one like that mauwzer (sp?) thing that has completely custiomizable control setups.
But considering right now I can only do two things at once in ableton using mouse and keyboard, it would be somewhat of a step-up.

Midi is completey adaptable. i couldnt believe how much so. That was until i got my X Session and since never looked back, its crazy that you can literally assign anything software to the hardware, and its instant response.

I know that... meant in terms of the actual control surfaces. What if I want more knobs? More buttons?

Get a X Session to supplement it and or a midi keyboard, just like Yoji uses sometimes.
I know what you mean tho, its alot to fork out, if not theres always the Ecler Nuo 4

Agreed, also, and this may just be me, but it looks like kind of a cramped environment to work in... Like it kind of looks like it's all very crowded, but I admittedly haven't seen one in a hands on setting so who knows...
Clovis, I totally agree about the lack of functions and assignability for customization. I gave the 3D the thumbs down. I don't really understand why they made it. They should have done a lot more research before they released this. Allen & Heath has not come of age with this toy. I think I can make a more useful midi controller for Ableton from Radio Shack parts!
