Official 2005-06 NCAA Basketball thread
i am surprised no one has started this thread yet, and we're almost a month into the college basketball season ... hahhaa ...
i guess the heisman anticipation took all the glory out of basketball right now ...
but got some good stuff going down right now ...
- kentucky, which was picked to be a powerhouse team this year, is struggling and got their asses handed on a platter by indiana today .
- duke proves to be the team to beat after handing a butt whooping to texas today .
- louisville is looking real good, with the return of taquan dean . i think this guy is going to be a really good player when he gets to the nba. he has a nice stroke to his jumper.
-j.j. redick proved today that on a good day, you cant stop the guy . i think he can be a good NBA player, if he puts a couple of more pounds on him, because at 6'4" 190 he is going to get mauled in the paint . i think since redick is such a great free throw shooter, he should drive to the basket more, rather than pop 3's all the time. then again, his free throw accuracy and amount of 3's he makes is scary. one thing i am concerned with is his rebounds and assists averages . not pretty.
-uConn is looking real good with a couple of returning players .
-and how about that last second heave by dockery (duke) to end v tech's upset bid last week (sorry v tech fans ... just not your night that night )
