The highest seeded team always plays the remaining lowest seeded team throughout the playoffs at the highest teams site, except for the Super Bowl. Both the NFC and AFC conferences seed their teams 1-6. If a 6 seeded team beats a 3 seed this weekend they will then play the No.1 seeded team. If the 3 seed beats the 6 seed then the 1 seed will play the winner of the 4seed vs. 5 seed.
No.'s 1 and 2 seeds have bye this week. (Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Indianapolis).

See I think I'll pick the Redskins as well for this pool, just because it's TA and theres no payout at the end. But at work we're doing a Playoff pool ($10 to buy-in) so there's more incentive to choose wisely.
I see the 'Skins over the Buccaneers this saturday, but I don't see washington winning against Chicago (especially at home).
I don't know, i hope I eat my words though. Redskins all the way

My mistake. You're right but it depends. If Washington beats Tampa Bay,then yes, Washington will play Seattle.
However, if Tampa Bay wins, then Tampa Bay will play chicago.
It depends on the strenght of the seeds. In my first post:

I doubt it will happen that way, but dammit, the Bears have a really decent shot at it for the first time since I started caring about football. Yeah they won it all back in 86 but I was a little kid and don't remember. they've been crap ever since.
