Im interested in taking pics at the upcoming AVB event at spirit. Now i dont know if the cams are allowed. When i went to ROXY to see PVD they took it away and gave me back after the show. I took decent pics at Central Park when PVD spun...alot of people complemented on the pics and i want to provide more.

How can i get ahold of a person in charge of something like that? DO i have to call the club, emaail them or what? I have a Canon Rebel 350D (XT)...Do i need to get a press pass?

I would suggest calling the club. Also maybe call a company that is known to take pictures at these venues on a regular basis. They should at least be able to give you contact information for the person you need to speak to.

They let people in with regular digicams but since this is a professional-ish camera you might have some problems. I would just call up the club in question and ask whether you can bring in this camera on the certain night or whether you need a photographer pass or smt.
