I would say it's a little piercing... but by the looks of things, your whole track is too loud.. or at least the mid-range frequencies... of which this synth is a majority of the sound I think.

All of your other sounds are being lost in the background and losing impact...

this is just before a break. I have a rising delay on the synth and it rises to the max before the brake. Its just a 10 second clip....

I haven't listened on my Mackies but on my regular speakers it sounds alright. The loud, dominating lead is mostly preference IMO since the kick and bass are still audible. However, I hear no hats, and I'm not sure that you even have any. If you do and you want to keep the lead that loud, you will want to add some high-end to your percs. Otherwise, just turn it down.

How can you ever expect to hear the level of an instrument if you've clipped the mix? Reduce the master volume so the maximum output reaches about 3 dB below clipping!

the volume is going over the maximum amount possible within the digital domain of music production
Lower the master volume as said so it doesn't hit the absolute maximum volume.

Yep, if you go over the maximum limit possible, you're throwing away samples, and the reduced dynamic range alters your perception of the volume. Stick to around 3 dB below the maximum and you'll save yourself (and your music) a whole lot of trouble.
