Hmmm full review...Got to space at 1am on the dot, bouncer let me in without a second glance at my ID which is always a good thing. Got inside right when Cedric (I think it was him anyway, dunno what he looks like really) dropped the infamous ID9. I was really impressed with his set, he was tearing up the floor with tons of sick housey upbeat songs, warmed up the crowd for desyn perfectly.
Desyn only played for about two hours or so which kinda pissed me off but w/e. I was pretty f'd so I don't entirely remember his set much anyway He dropped this one massive song that I'm going to look for in recordings later on, hopefully I'll id it soon. He spun from about 3-5am I think? Forget...
Sanchez came on next if I recall (was still fucked, can't remember). I was on my way out when I heard ID9 queing up again which was a pleasant surprise to say the least. Stayed for it but had to leave soon after - blisters, tired, out of cigs, out of money, etc.
Some songs I remember hearing:
-It comes from inside
-ID9 of course
-couple songs off Balance 8, the Moloko track off cd2, cannot contain this, the song 30minutes into cd1, also the song 52minutes into cd 2, Joey Negro – Make A Move On Me I think. (I don't have a legit copy yet, can't really justify spending ~25 bucks on a cd)
A few more, trying to remember...
Overall, 9/10, would have been 10 if desyn had played longer.
I went to Suite sunday night but didn't get in. It took ten minutes for a bouncer to even look at me. When someone did walk over he looked at my ID and laughed in my face So yeah, fuck suite. One and only time that id has ever failed and it had to be for desyn. Figures..
*edit*
Desyn played captain hook too, can't believe I forgot about that.
