I am thinking of buying this mixer but I heard unless you get upgraded version (1.10), there is half a second EQ latency.
I have a good offer on ebay but not sure how would I know for sure that I'm buying upgraded version?
Anyone knows?
Does it say somewhere on the mixer?
What should I ask seller?
Thanks for help,
magik

i must admit i dont have much experience with the X9...
however i will say i've seldom heard anything good about it.
generally, most comments about the X9 revolve around poor build quality and lack of a good feel.

I would buy a Denon DN-X1500 if I were you.
I used the Tascam x-9 a while back and I did not care for it too much.. The knobs on it feel cheap and the 2 part eq knobs are a pain to wrap your head around. Not a bad unit, but having owned the X1500 and used the X-9, I would go for the Denon.
Sorry I couldnt answer your question

It's OK but the EQs are fucking sensitive little bastards.
