Do you prefer Coffins or Cases for your Turntables?

i'm getting something to put my tt's in because i'm afraid of damaging them (i take them w/ me a lot and in the factory boxes..), so i thought i'd ask ~ do you prefer using coffins or cases to store/transport your turntables? why?

thanks,
bisco

A question to you...if you transport your tables do you usually always take them both?

In my case...I like cases (hehe), because its not as heavy and if I only need one, I can bring it still being protected.

If you have a truck or a lot of room in your trunk of a car, get the coffin then

1. can you lift the coffin alone?
2. does it fit in your car?
coffin is a lot less hassle if you can take care of the points above. don't have to unplug every time, can move everything all at once, so you don't have to leave expensive gear in your car whilst you lug each part about. even better if you can get one with wheels built in

A coffin is much more convenient if you have the room for it.

Similar to what tubby said, it's a lot more convenient to get everything in one trip, but then you have to deal with a very heavy and bulky coffin, which may be inconvient in other ways, depending on your situation. Smaller cases can be stacked or seperated to fit better wherever they go, especially if you have a smaller car or a car already filled with a lot of stuff.
