Chicago house DJ Derrick Carter is to release his first mix album called "About Now" in five years on March 25th. The album will be released through UK imprint React and will be a true representation of Derrick's DJing experience. In the mid-nineties, Derrick and Luke Solomon began Classic Records, now seen as one of the UK's most respected house labels. Derrick currently works in Europe a lot where he has become almost a celebrity in the music industry while in the US he's still a best kept secret. Derrick mixed underground house music from several underground independent labels from all over the globe for his new album. In Jan/Feb Derrick is touring to New York, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Thailand and the UK (Classic residency at The End in London).
