Idea Help me pick tracks for a compilation for an assignment.

Looking to expand my dancing horizons beyond the raver shuffle, I'm taking Social Dance this quarter. Where you learn the Mambo, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, etc...

Since, academically, the class is a joke, the only assignment for the duration of the quarter is to create a mix CD for the (hot, female) instructor.

I've already found the perfect track to set the mood for the CD - something danceable to in a classroom environment - more uppity, bouncy progressive house, not too vocal, strong, or energetic:

Juliet - Avalon (Jaques Lu cont Mix)

Huh, huh, you know what I'm talking about? It's a great track and you could partner-dance and twirl and twirl to it endlessly.

Some other tracks I am considering, though none are as good and danceable to. After reviewing the list, most of these are too chilled:

Late Night Alumni - Empty Streets (Too chilled I think, but it's just so good I want to share it forever)

Schmitt mit Hepner - I Feel You (Strong, emotional track.)

Andain - Beautiful Things (Maybe some remix of it? But the original is just so good...)

Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (What mix, though? Something a lil' more chilled

Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (One of the remixes.)

Iio - Rapture (Maybe a remix?)

Above and Beyond - No One On Earth (I love this song so much, I want to share it... and there's a lot of remixes available. I'll look through them and see which one will go best.

Luminary - Amsterdam (Though it's not something you can really ballroom dance to.)

Ferry Corsten - Holding On (The intro is so good. It's my wakey alarm tone on my phone.)

Blank and Jones - Closer To Me

So, can you guys point me in the right direction?

I've been thinking of something more Anjunabeaty (though nothing comes to mind,) upbeaty Chicane/Rippingtons/chillout, some dancey Coldplay remix; maybe tie this into me wanting to include some Gabriel and Dresden, or maybe even Sting - Desert Rose ;P.

Those tracks aren't that great for a social dance class mix cd.

Something with alot of african drums, and if it has a steady beat it'd have to be REALLY relaxed.

I assume you'd need chicane - saltwater, becuz its amazing. Or else autumn tactics, for a more vocal approach.
And for empty streets, use the haji and emanuel mix.
