Crazy Talibanazis
In the spirit of the "Crazy Feminazis" thread, I felt the other side - the Crazy Talibanazis - should also be properly represented.

I saw this in the paper today, and while an anti-abortion march isn't all that surprising or unheard of, what surprised me was some of the rather, well, insane quotes from a few of the marchers.

Abortion opponents march downtown, protest Roe v. Wade
Austin bishop speaks at rally at the Capitol.

More than 33 years after Roe v. Wade, hundreds of abortion opponents from across the state marched downtown to the Texas Capitol, making their views clear on the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision that established the constitutional right to abortion.
Chanting 'Roe must go!' and other anti-abortion slogans, several hundred demonstrators marched to the Texas Capitol on Saturday to voice their objections to the Supreme Court decision that established the constitutional right to abortion.
On Saturday afternoon, the crowd of marchers extended two blocks from Republic Square Park on to Fourth Street, then to Congress Avenue. At a rally at the Capitol, more than 40 anti-abortion organizations were represented, event organizers said. Though the anniversary of the court ruling was Jan. 22, the Texas Alliance for Life event occurs on the Saturday afterward, Executive Director Joe Pojman said.
Bishop Gregory Aymond, leader of the Catholic Diocese of Austin, was among those who mourned what they call 47 million unborn babies, the number some anti-abortion groups say have been aborted since the ruling, and he spoke about the mental-health effects abortion has on women.
Roe v. Wade "has created a culture of death," said Aymond, the keynote speaker. "We want to create a culture of life and not of death."
To those who advocate the right to abortion, Aymond said: "We respectfully ask you to reconsider your position."
"The cure for abortion is abstinence," said Kyleen Wright, of Texans for Life Coalition. "Sex is not worth dying for."
A man in the crowd yelled back: "And it's not worth killing for!"

If I understand Ms. Wright correctly, she would rather women die as "punishment" for having sex than keep abortion legal!
Amazing.
America has its very own homegrown "Vice and Virture" squad.
Ok, so it's not very shocking that Ann Coulter would stoop to this level, because it's customary for her, but this should probably be included as well:

Justice Ought to Be Poisoned, Coulter Jokes
From Times Wire Reports
Speaking at a Little Rock college, conservative commentator Ann Coulter joked that Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens should be poisoned.

Coulter told the Philander Smith College audience that more conservative justices were needed on the Supreme Court to change the current law on abortion. Stevens is one of the court's more liberal members.
"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee," Coulter said. "That's just a joke, for you in the media."

I can't spend all day looking for Crazy Talibanazi quotes since I have a paper to write and sane young women who don't believe sex is something they should be punished with death for participating in to pick up on, but feel free to add more.
:P
