driving on G might be quite sketchy and no insurance will help you
1. Call and ask, not like you need to tell them your name.
2. Go to your insurance company, I'm sure they can get you another copy quickly and easily.

Yes.
They will issue you a TEMPORARY 30 Day one. Simple as that. Will take then a moment or two only to print out for you.
And then they'll have new perm ones mailed to you.

When I took my G test..they did not ask to see any proof of insurance. For any of my driving tests I was not asked to provide proof..
Hell, i don't even know where it would be..i guess somewhere in the glove compartment...but as far as I know, they don't request to see proof.

Actually, yeah, now that I reflect on it, I was never asked by my driving person for the vehicle insurance.
I doubt you'll be asked.

Same here. I've taken the G2 exit text to get my full G license about 3 times, passed on the 3rd time, never had to show insurance once.

There's nothing in there about insurance. I don't think you need it for the test, and I definitely don't remember my tester asking to see it. But if you're still worried, call them.
P.S. Nice work waiting until the last minute. You know that most people fail the G2 exit test the first time, right? You might not be completely hosed, though - I think you can schedule one test for after your license expires, as long as you make the booking beforehand and can schedule it within a reasonable time. Of course, you'd still be driving with an expired license during the days in between...
P.P.S. Driving without proof of insurance can get you into almost as much trouble as driving without insurance, should you get pulled over. Hurry up and get on it.

the whole test is about observation; the more you look around the better, check your blind spot on every action you do. When you go to the highway it is VERY VERY important that you accelerate up to 100 right away; before you change lanes from ramp onto actual highway, start right after you coming out of the ramp turn DON'T take you time, just do it. Cover your brake when you pass intersection with lights. When you pass intersection turn your head left then right, but when you pass crosswalk its the other way around (cover you break too).
