Re: Blockbuster / VISA fvcked me.. how do i get em back?

Yea, so several months ago, i bought a PS2 from Blockbuster. Prior to buying it, i asked the sales rep about their returns policy. The guy said that i could get my money back within 30 days for both the PS2 and the game i bought, even if they were opened. Now, the PS2 ended up being defective and the game i bought i didn't like anyway, so i came back there within 30 days and returned the damn thing. Now, months later, i realized that they never actually credited my Visa. I went back there and the manager said that i'm not getting my money back because the sales rep made a mistake. So they've just kept my PS2 there for like months and never even called me to tell me there was a problem. I called Visa and they said that i could have disputed the charge earlier, but because so much time has passed (over 90 days), there is nothing i can do. But you know what? I don't feel like getting fucked. I wanna get em back. But how? I was thinking of going to that same store and buying an Xbox 360, then calling Visa to block the charge and refusing to settle until i get the money back for my PS2. Would that work? Any other ideas? |
Go above the store managers head and call the head office. Don't stop calling them until you get your money and/or PS2 back.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and said that the settlement i'm looking for is an Xbox 360. I justified that by saying that the PS2 was the top-of-the-line console when the purchase was made, so for wasting three months of my time, it's only logical that they replace it with the current top-of-the-line console.
