alright this morning i have been having MAJOR pain right between my tummy/hip on the right side...been about 1.5 hours now. can't figure out wtf it is. (no, it's not cramps from pms)... they're reeeeeeeeally sharp and then it goes away, and then it comes back, etc. it hurts when i press on it like a mofo.
any prognosis? i'm in so much pain i can't concentrate on doing my work.
Sorry girl....I have never had it but my friend did way back in Grade School, all I can remember was that she was doubled over in pain and couldn't stand up straight but this was after hours of dealing with a pain I believe on her right side. Then she had to go to the Hospital and have it taken care off.
I would check medical websites. I think that the pain has to be one side in order for it to appendicitis.
Feel better

Sounds like a kidnet stone or appendicitis.... more like a kidney stone becuase you will only get pain as the stone is moving. Appendicitis is more of a steady pain. I went through this myself last month. If it gets unbearable go to the ER and they will lay you down, give u some morphine, perform a catscan, and send you home with some yummy vicodin.

i had appendicitis when i was 14....
The pain u are describing is like it...but i also felt like i had to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes but nothing would come out...
I doubt you have it because the pain is VERY VERY intense....u really wouldnt be able to sit down and type.
And if you do have it dont worry....the operation takes a grand total of 40 minutes with no pain afterwards...except when you pee (major burning).

ok i did some research and it seems like appendicitis is more of a constant sharp pain whereas mine seems to be coming in waves.
i looked at my calendar and it's been exactly 2 weeks to the day since i had my period, so i'm thinking it could be ovulation pain. weird, because i never ever had ovu. pain before. but it seems the most likely of the 3 possibilities since all the symptoms seem to fit.
You just need to blast one! After you do, you'll feel like a million bucks again!

Ooooh I get those, mine are usually a SHARP I mean SHARP double over pain (mine usually on the right side seems the left side doesn't like to release eggs all the time) I have asked my gyno about it EVERY TIME I go and they said its nothing to worry about its you literally feeling the egg move, kinda sick and cool all at the same time. But if it keeps up go to the doctor just in case.
