Ahh, wow, this was actually the first CD I ever got. It had a some sort of chillout-ish version of it in the end as a "hidden" track. Is that what you mean?

not really

the last 30 seconds of the video version was totally different from the song itself, except it had the same diva vocals. it also sounded "acidhousish"

A sample wouldn't hurt.

Sorry I don't recognize any song that uses any part of those elements from the Pet Shop Boys track

I don't know if it's any of these, but I can see it has a few mixes.

Go West (Ming's Gone West Second Movement)
Go West (Farley & Heller Disco Mix)
Go West (Farley & Heller Fire Island Mix)
Go West (Kevin Saunderson's Tribe Remix)
Go West (Kevin Saunderson Trance Mix)

Word on the street is the second movement thingy is closest to the original but as I haven't heard it I can't confirm it.

I have a remix of this labelled 'Sasha Extended'. I have always been sceptical whether or not this is actually by Sasha, but regardless of that, it still does exactly what it says on the tin, and 'extends' the song. Including the outro bit at the end. By quite a bit infact: from 6:18 to 9:15 is just a reworked version of that cool little sample at the end of the Original, which might be the sort of thing you're looking for. Sample - Right Click Save As

Fucking love the Pet Shop Boys. Rave!

By the way the total length of this version is 9:15, so if anyone can confirm what remix/rework this is, then that'd be cool.

Edit: I just downloaded another version called the '1992 12" Mix' and it's the same thing as I already have.
