This is my promotional mix for Febuary 2006 and is also going to be Rush Hour #20 for my show on ETN.

Finally was able to get my djm fixed, so now this is my first non-ableton'ed mix in about a month.

Hey, good tunes but do you hear a scratching sound in the beginning? Not like dj scratching of course. It might bother you or a listener.

yea man, that thing sometimes happens after i save my mix that i recorded with cool edit, no way around it... kinda sucks sorry

Sounds really good so far tho. Mixing is really solid, though the first mix is a little cluttered with the conflicting keys happening. There also doesn't seem to be a lot of flow through the first 4 tracks or so. You start off with a nice chill house track and then into some melodic prog and then into some more techy electro house stuff. It doesn't sound bad per se, just a little funny.

What's with the ID? Isn't that 20 Fingers - Short Dick Man (Shawn Mitiska & Cern Mix)? I think they did a remix of that recently.

First of all, I'd like to say thank you for posting, and that I appreciate your comment.

I do in fact understand that some of the mixes had conflicting key's, and regardless; I still decided to throw the mix up for a dwonload. It's something that im getting more and more away from as I continue to progress and practice as a DJ. The more time I spend practicing, the better I've been getting so hopefully one of these day's I can throw up a completely sound mix.

As for your concern regarding the progression, I can see that it might not flow completely as if it were to having it been completely one style.... But to tell you the honest truth, thats actually I'm trying to step away from as a DJ. I believe that all genre's are great, and that a good song is good and that a bad song is bad regardless of what genre name someone slaps on it. My goal in this mix was to expose my entire style of DJing, and to do such a thing in 80 minutes (1CDR), coming from my personal point of view... was a very hard thing to do. Hopefully in the future I can deliver a longer more sound mix to TA in which I can show you more progressivly how I would actually build up a set if I was DJing live.

But anyways, this was actually supposed to be 2 hours long, and for my featured artist mix on proton radio, so i tried to expose as much production work of mine as possible. And I'm glad I decided to cut it short although I think it came out very well. Thanks for the input so far guys !
