different words have diff levels of offense in diff areas. Personally i think it's all stupid, bloody isnt even a swear word anyway.

personally i couldnt really give a fuck, pretty much every Aussie i have ever met has serious complex issues about the UK, thinking we really care if you stay in the commonwealth etc, we couldnt give two shits if you remove the British flag from your flag or get a president instead of our queen.

p.s. good video tho but this is the one that hasnt been banned

They had to change Big Ears' name from the Noddy books/tv programs so as not to cause offence to some people.

I'm not coming back into this thread because all the political correctness bullshit really winds me up!

That really pisses me off too, we're turning into America at a worryingly fast rate. The cases that really astound me are when burglars sue after they injure themselves in someone elses house. It's pure insanity

PS. I changed my mind i'm staying in this thread i've got a football game soon and i usually play better when i'm pissed off.

The thing with australia is when they tried to have a referendum to get out of the commonwealth half the people couldnt care less. Then other people jumped on the "oh noes they are going to change the flag, my dad fought in the war under that flag"
Theres a huge number of the population that are in their older stages of life, they let this affect their vote.

maybe that plays a bit of a role but tbh i think most Australians are happy with the current situation and a bit minus against the so called Republican model must be looking across at the US and the way their President is set up.

I'm not exactly Royalist but here in the UK would much rather a royal head of state with little polictical agenda rather than an all powerful President. the thought of President Blair makes me feel ill.

also a side-note, i know i mentioned commomwealth but i was uder the impression that the 1999 referendum wasnt over leaving the commonwealth but actually about becoming a republic.
