Love Poundin' Sensation Sunny Lax - Puma/Cassiopiea [Anjunabeats]

What are your opinions on these 2 tracks

I do like quite alot of Anjunabeats stuff, but this tune really grabbed my attention

Puma is the more stronger of the two for sure, i could see Paul Van Dyk dropping this tune, quite pumping but with a quite melodic riff, but has a really catchy hook to it, the break is quite hypnotic, then it builds with the hypnotic sounds and it feeds back into the main riff, would be great to hear live, a monster 9/10

Cassiopiea isnt bad to, has a lush break, with all sorts of little tropical sounds, but no where near as good as Puma

I love Puma, it's been an absolute monster tune for the last few weeks for myself. Cassiopiea isn't bad, altough it's pretty forgettable and not nearly as good as Puma. Even so, it's another wonderful EP from a new producer that Anjuna have picked up.

Mind you, does Puma remind anyone of Menno De Jong's Guanxi? They both have almost offensively long breakdowns, with synth riffs rolling in and out, moving down to silence, and then building up again. I admit that the synths used on the songs sound different, but the structure and melodies are pretty similar. Then again, both are quality tunes, so I shouldn't really be complaining.

Damn, I love Anjunabeats.

I like Puma, I don't remember how Cassiopiea sounded but I do remember that it wasn't really bad at all.

Not a big fan of this song, I don't see why its so popular.

Prefer Amsterdam (S&P) over this 100 times over.

+1

i didn't like Puma really, but i can't tell about Cassiopiea since i haven't heard it

Some people have Puma as their tune of they year, but i find it really boring

It's a solid track but it doesn't bring me anywhere !

and on the other side we have amsterdam, beautiful piece of music and emotions
