My review:
After i liked Volume #12 a lot,i decided to get #13 too.#14 has just been released.It has been released in germany only as far as i am aware,but i got some1 to take it from there for me

CD1...

...is kinda nice.it features some to me relatively unknown songs and is fairly good mixed.not as good as some top-ranking djs might be able to,but nevertheless not bad either !!!The good songs on the CD make up for this more than enough.Overall i'd give this a 7/10

CD2...
...is not as good.This is a real pity.I cant really remember why,but i just seemed to not like it.i am now re-listening the cd again and will post a proper review very soon

The intro starts very bad,actually.I dont like to listen only one single beat,i want it to start with allready a few layers.This starts with one beat,then more,then more,then more,and then WHAM,more.Not nice. Later on in this song,the real rhytm seems to have been lost.The beat/sound jumps all over the place,not producing a nice song.around the 4 minute mark,the rhytm seems to have come back a bit,but now the first mix comes. This immediatley gives a "cheap"feel.could be much better.Yet again comes the single beat thing,with only one or two background noises The next song begins a bit too late.im now at 6 minutes into the cd. the noises from the first song ruin the nice intro of the 2nd song.at almost 7:30 it still is there !!get it rid of DJ !!!The 2nd is quite different,and doesnt really match the 1st.

all of the sudden,the 3rd song starts,while you didnt even get to hear the 2nd one properly.luckily the 3rd is only 1 song,and gives a better feel.now at the 10 minute mark.it has a kind of weird echo in it,not in the original iirc.i dont really know what to say,positive/negative... At the 13 minute mark,there still is this weird distortion/echo.by now it starts to annoy.at 14 minutes id like to kill the person who made this up.While the song is still hammering along,at about 14:35 , all of a sudden, another song starts to un in between.Neither of the song can be heard very well.

the 4th song is getting close to hardtrance..,when all of a sudden there is an almost silence.And then some real trance.Suddenly stops at 18:50 and another song starts.From sweeping hijgh-tones trance,to a single beat with background noises... Not as id like to hear this!!
some weird tones a minute later and a song beginning.Atleast this song doesnt sound f***ed up.im now at 22 minutes.its a fairly well known song,which bores me cos i know it for soooooo lloooong....

at 24:47 another poor mix.It aint as bad as some previous ones,but not quite upto my fairly high standard.yet again itstarts with a single beat,with noises.a bit later the beat disappears and church-like singing continues and 15 secs later a high piano-like note and a trancey tune.not familiar with this song,but its nice.it doenst seem to fit the rest of the cd though.the song also sounds a bit "old-school". (i love oldschool though,so no prob for me)

at 19:30 this song gets softr and a new beat emerges slowly.10-15 secs later this is all gone.fairly good mix .(finally). oldschool-ish trance song again.

at 32 minutes a fast beat emerges and all of a sudden the next song.almost complete silence with what sounds soft random noises.however,the beat emerges slowly.not mixed as id like to hear it.

i assume the tendcncy for the rest of the cd has been kinda established by now.oldschool-ish trance songs. Woah wait !ay 34:45 another kind of beat comes,sounds much more modern.

around 36-37 minutes its either the same song or a nice mix.it has a very different kind of beat/rhythm and feel.i cant hear it being a mix though !!! nice finally.

39 minutes,a change in beat.this is mixed.one track softening,one trying to break through.unclear what is what.not as nice as it should be... . im getting sick of this...

ok.at 42 minutes i have had it again.cd ejected. if it wouldnt have cost me money,i would have burned it.all it gave me was a nice headache
overall id givethis cd a 4.5/10
