Let me first say that this is unmastered and un-EQed. Not only do I suck at mastering but I would like to address the sounds first. I am not 100% satisfied with the way this turned out. I used Reason 3 primarily thinking that the computery sound would go well with a techy track like this but I feel like the sounds are lacking in definition. Not alot of effects were used either. I'm interested to see what everyone thinks. Suggestions, comments, bashing, give 'em to me. Maybe I should stop being lazy and download some new patches on my Virus...

an original goodie, i must say!
very cool fx's, however i fell it's lacking something.. perhaps more techy-synthy sounds like the one entering around 2:00? one part was unusually satisfying: when the bass, kick and tambourine were 'alone' at around 1:00
all in all, nevertheless and overall, good music producing. keep working on this baby. it's great to hear more minimal/tech/house on TA

It is definitly missing something, I can't quite put my finger on it. I wanted to add another heavy synth part after the buildup but couldn't find a patch to my liking on the maelstrom. Maybe a job for the real hardware.

your on reason 3, right. so like make some own patches and stuff? i always do and it's usually the most rewarding process/results imo. and it's quite often right on the money, compared to the sounds one wants. however, hardware synth's > subtractor & maelström combined
another heavy synth part would facelift this track up a couple notches i'd say

Hey man,
Nice track you have here with a real good groove. The one thing I'd put my finger on from it is the bass, it runs throughout the whole track with no real change. Maybe playing around with it as the song progresses may be the thing for you to do, maybe distort it in one section and play around with it again in another by using another fx.
Production and structure are great so no problems there but maybe it needs little quirky sections that spring up on the listener. Just a different slant on it anyway from me.

hehe funky track , the bass might be a bit high and you would want to add a low note to it?
the bongos are quite cool, the whole tune is like funky... i was waving my head (from side to side) to this!
the little synth that comes in is fitting, i dont like that kind of sound but thats no biggy
when it comes back from the break down its cool, with that saw thingy in the back the track is a tad to slow for me but thats house you know... i would try for more fx's in the back to give this track a fuller sound. good tune other wise

If you are doing this then my mission has been accomplished!
On Sunday I am going to work out the kinks in this with all the suggestions made here. Look out for an updated version on Sunday!
