Being the huge dumbass I am, I somehow managed to lose my iPod this summer. I spent the first part of this semester wandering campus in relative silence, eavesdropping on the occassional who's banging who conversation. I couldn't handle it anymore so I bit the bullet and ordered a Cowon iAudio x5. This thing is rad as hell.
30gig, voice recorder, line-in record up to 320kbps (boo ya), super smooth video playback, drag and drop transfers, and most importantly - NOT an iPod.
Just wanted to gloat about my purchase a bit
Expect to be bombarded with recordings of all the upcoming Daniel K vs. Tyler C sets
I clicked on this thread expecting it to be some sexy toy, what a letdown. My ipod FTW!

Anyone know an good mp3 player that comes in pink, asside from ipod. A girl i'm seeing lost her 8 gig ipod today. My 30 gig ipod has been in the shop for what seems like forever(more like a month and a half. I got it back for a day and it broke again. If it breaks again I am going into best buy with a baseball bat. No one fucks with my music. Anyway I am losing my faith in Ipod. So I think a change for her would be good, and she has had the same problems. I never understood why people talked shiit about ipods, but now I am begining to understand.

damn... my zen broke today after dropping it.... i had a first generation zen.. yeah, thats right...4 years and counting.... it worked damn fine!

they were selling 60gig non-video ipods at the university bookstore for $319.00, which is an incredible price. i almost picked one of those up just for the extra space, but i really needed to have the line-in recording.
dan, when you get yours could we maybe go on a date and rub our mp3 players together??
