i dont know much about abelton, but i think you have to 'warp' the track correctly.
for beginning mp3/cd players, i probably suggest the pioneer cdj 200. i dont know how serious you are, if you think you are going to stick with djing, then i would say get the pioneer with maybe a numark mixer. if you want the cd player mixer combo, maybe you should get the numark cd mix 2, its not bad for what it is.
think of your budget and see what you can afford.
p.s. it would be better if you posted this in dj booth section of the site

Hostile group lol.
Not to stir the pot or anything but,
1) If you're tired of responding to the same questions, it's simple, don't.
2) Some people are new here and just getting their feet wet, they haven't been around for months (or even years), there's alot of information to absorb.
3) "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good." - Samuel Johnson (1709-1784)
How does this apply to this situation you ask? Simple, remember when you (veterans) were newbies to this site and even music production? Did you not have a shitload of questions and did you not want to be treated fairly?
4) You should feel flattered that people are coming here to ask their questions, that in itself should say something about the quality and caliber of musically inclined people that represent this site.
Okay, I'm sure I'll get flamed right out of this place now but meh, it's pretty much the number one reason I don't come here with alot of the questions I have, too much hostility.
