I don't really like your kick drum, it's not fat and hard enough!
Nah j/k, I don't know. It's not the best quality you've got on the mp3

Erin can sing for sure

Do you produce with your wife? Thats cool

The melodies are to standard for my taste, nothing new there.
You could fatten up the piano with some chords insted of single notes.
It sounds "empty".

Overall it's good for being your first vocal trance track.

Keep it up all three of you

Kick/percs sounded kinda cheap and unfiltered in the begining. Maybe if you layered some more elements on top of them it wouldn't feel so empty. The kick definately needs more punch.

I like the pads.

Vocals are nice, but I think they could more 'breathy'. High delay/reverb on trance vocals is always nice.

Lead synth is pretty sweet

Overall I very much like it. I think it needs some work, but it's got alot of potential. Nice job

Yes I agree..still trying to figure that part out.

Yeah I produce with my wife...really helps out alot too, I'm sure everybody here understands that, lol.

So the kick & perc's sound kinda flat...I put a 30hz cut on the whole track..Hope thats not the problem, maybe I should layer that kick?

The percs would be nice if I did some kinda of filtering I guess.
I like the perc pattern...spent alot of time getting it that way.
Is it the perc sounds that you guys dont agree with?

And yes Erin voice is f-cking awesome! Glad to have her with us now!

Good track; fairly well produced, nice vocals.

I agree with Speactra about the melodies - pretty familiar and standard. I'd suggest introducing other melodies for some variation and perhaps altering the structure of the song.

I Love The Vocal!! But agree with others the melodies need something different..

BTW how did u write the vocal..?? hehe

Erin did that...its from her heart/she just writes what she feels
the chords and the progression was written around her/for her.
We worked together from start to finish.

The arp was drawn in with the pencil tool, I just chopped up the chords from the pad and made an arp pattern based on other vocal trance tunes I've heard in the past.

The idea for this is to try to get some vocal trance dj's to pick it up and play it.

Most vocal trance tunes dont have heavy kicks/percs.

I think were gonna work on this a bit more later, we have two big shows coming up in march... were ready to move on to the next song now, were shooting for something more original sounding. We are meeting in the sudio again next week, we will put our heads together and hope for something great.
