Sneaker Pimp RE: Robbie Fowler

Being a big Leeds United fan i was quite happy to see Robbie come to leeds. After watching play for 3 games at leeds all i can say is What were Liverpool thinking and to let him go for less than Ģ11 million. He is fast on and off the ball and he is ten times better than heskey. Liverpool Fans let me know what you think

Iīm no Liverpool fan or anything, but I guess they traded him since he didnīt make the start XI.. He and Owen didnīt play very well together and heīs too good to be left on the bench.. Also he didnīt seem to get along to well with Houllier and Thompson..

I never liked robbie fowler, even if he played for my team man utd. I never liked his attitude or his arrogance. But if he can rise above that, then i wish him luck.

Re: RE: Robbie Fowler

Houllier's "rotational system" frustrated Fowler. He was only on a bad run of form...and all he needed was the little amount of time to prove he was back to his best again. I will remember the goals he scored for Liverpool includin that fast trick in the space of 5 minutes against Arsenal a few years back...and all these goals against Arsenal..and I'll remember that goal scored against Man Utd last season. I think when you need him the most he will do the job.

Your right, really depends on the player adapting to the coach's system, many strikers in europe have clashed with coaches and transfers have happened.

Fowler and Owen are too much alike, Heskey is good with Owen because he can hold the ball up well and is a good target man, then lays it off to Owen who does the rest. Now at Leeds Fowler does not have a better similar player to contend with so he makes the first team and is back to the old days of Fowler

I love Fowler

I'm a big Liverpool supporter, so it was sad to see him go, but I'm happy that he is doing well for Leeds. The rest of that team though, is just a bunch of madmen, especially Danny Mills. Did anybody see them against Newcastle today? He got a red card for kicking Bellamy down. I've always hated that guy

Danny Mills is a f*#kin psycho. The quicker Leeds gets rid of him the better. Fowler can also work well with Viduka, who is also good at holding the ball up Heskey-style (but much better at scoring goals)
