Hey mate, had a listen and quite enjoyed it

Your mixing was very sharp - quite sudden drops from one track into another, but it still flowed and I liked that... mixing like that would work particularly well in a club.

One thing to watch is when doing a sudden mix, the track you're going into has to have more energy at that point than the one before, otherwise you can suddenly lose a lot of the energy. There were a couple of points when you mixed into a track quite quickly and faded out the previous track a little bit too fast not leaving much in the next track and it seemed to suffer. But most of the time it all worked really well and you kept a good flow going.

Quite a few classics in there, more than I'd probably expect from a set not labelled as a classics mix, but a good tune's a good tune! I'd just say watch how often you play classics... depending on the gig, the best thing to do might be to just play a load of classics! But sometimes the crowd might react better to something a little less obvious with just one or two classics thrown in... but I'm sure you knew that anyway

Good effort. I saw you've put up another couple of mixes, I'll have a listen to them in the next few days and let you know what I think

Thanks for the help Stu. I don't have the greatest record colection yet so sometimes a classic or 3 ends up in the mix as well.
