Judge jules is a disgrace to every person on earth. Look, only person that tries to sound like fergie (since they are mates, I guess) and fails. He plays the same songs over and over again, he killed joy energizer for many. His wife is hot but she can't sing and then they clutter up the airwaves with this awful crap. Jules is a menace is three ways, he plays awful music, wears retina burning shirts and beats up clubbers for annoying him. His Mcing at GCSSS was pathetic and a joke. His radio show is the same fans that support dave pearce, same wankers who put in castles in the sky in the top 30 of all time and forgot about robert miles-children. Oh yes, can he really mix or is he just a pathetic waste of time. His attitude pisses me off and so does his choice of songs. Please give it up jules, you really suck.

although i too used to stand where you guys are @ now, i disagree. judge jules is an entertainer. he knows the business. those tunes that you call cheese make lots of money. people dance to those cheese tunes. just because he mixes trance and house together doesnt mean he should be banned from the trance community, or the house community. he plays to the crowd, and im sure he's REQUIRED BY CONTRACT to play some other tunes that he might not agree with. so before you guys go shredding jules, you need to respect the man for his talent and ability to make the extra $$$.

Lexy......what the hell. I personally don't care how much money the guy makes.......start to make intelligent music with meaning and depth. I'm tired of ppl selling out likes jules.......to make money selling shit, just like many others. It has to stop but i know it won't because wankers are selling out trance........let them sellout the cheese trance. I'll stick to the intelligent stuff......Whateva i guess......to each his or her own.

Well put I can't listen to him at all but thats just because he's not my flavor, I prefer deep prog. I do have respect for him though, he plays what he likes and he plays it to people who want to hear it. He fills a niche which needs to be filled.

mmmm.. i used to think it was only Perth people who despised the Judge, then i came here and found out he's generally regarded as a tosspot throughout the world
the guy can obviously dj, but bugger me if he's up to the standard of the likes of digweed, PVD and so on...
he doesnt deserve the #11 rating given to him by that mag... no way on earth is he a better dj than ferry, avb, anthony pappa...
that said, he is an entertainer, he caters for a specific niche of the population.. and he wears clothes so shocking it makes the rest of us feel good wearing the shirt we found in grandpa's wardrobe...

EXACTLY! Judge Jules plays what many newbies and clubbers wanna hear. For more people to discover the music, someone has to cater to their initial tastes. I'm not a huge fan of the Judge anymore, but when I was first getting into the music I loved the type of stuff he plays. My tastes have evolved and so too will the tastes of newbies as long as they have an avenue for getting into the music in the first place. Personally, I don't think there are enough DJs, at least not here where I live, who play the style that Judge Jules spins. It would help get more people into the music... It also makes for better club music than the top 40s we get around here. gag!
