Sweetchilli: Next 5 months lineups
The Sweetchilli team embarks on another huge run of events, touring and gigs over the next 5 months starting in March with involvement in the Future Music Festival.
Setting aside Mini Chilli in March for a 1 month sabatical, the Sweetchilli team (along with many other leading Sydney promoters) has joined forces with Future Entertainment and will be presenting the Global Undergroud stage at Future Music Festival. The Sweetchilli/GU arena includes headliners Max Graham & James Lavelle (Unkle) aswell as Sweetchilli residents Crispin, Daniel C, Ben Korbel & Robbie Lowe The residents will make a second appearance at the official Future Music Festival afterparty being run at Home nightclub the same night.
Following on in March Sweetchilli welcomes back Kasey Taylor on the 17th Kasey last played for Sweetchilli way back in the Dendy days and absolutely blew the roof off the place. That was his last gig in Sydney and there have been many requests from Sweetchilli regulars and Kasey Taylor fans to have him back. Head Honcho of Vapour Records and with over 50 releases to his name, Kasey now resides in the UK and is one of Australia's most popular dj exports!!
February and March is also a big month of gigs for the Chilli Crew. Sat 25th of Feb Crispin & Daniel C play Renaisance at Tank in support of Satoshi Tomiie . Crispin also plays the second installment of Strangeways on the Terrace at Home on the 12th March and jumping on a plane immediately after the Kasey Taylor night the two head to NYC for a gig at the famous Sunday Sessions party Shameless @ Le Souk. Crispin and Daniel then travel to Miami for WMC where they will play the official Balance 009 launch party along with Paolo Mojo and Desyn Masiello. This will be followed by a third gig at the Plastic Sex Party, the official afterparty for Steve Porters "Porterhouse" event.
As if that wasn't enough....for April Sweetchilli have teamed up with the Sounds Group to present Livewire on Saturday 15th April with a mega line up including Dave Seaman, James Holden, Anthony Pappa, Paolo Mojo, DJ T and Rex the Dog.
On 21st April the team back up, presenting the official BALANCE 009 cd launch feat. Paolo Mojo whose national tour is also being run by the Sweetchilli team.
Also being toured by Sweetchilli will be Steve Porter in May, Luke Fair in June and Desyn Masiello in June/July. You can expect to see major Sweetchilli parties being announced in support of all these tours in the not too distant future!!!
