yu are inn for a GREAT journey .. there's no scene in Tulum, but go to Playa del Carmen (30 miles north of Tulum)... check out Santanera, Moon, Ohm.
Hernan Cattaneo will perform in Playa del Carmen Feb. 23 at Alux. a cavern 60ft below sea level, that place is incredible ..

Tulum? Club scene? There were no clubs when I went there. The only time it got clubby was when I started up my mp3 player to fall asleep in the hammock of my beachside cabbanna. But definitely take a holiday there. Unbelievably bueatiful beaches especially with the Mayan ruins off in the distance.
Playa is awesome as well, but I wouldn't really go there for their club scene either. If you want clubs go to Ibiza or something. Go to central america for an awesome, cheap, relaxing vacation.
