CET is probably Central Europe Time which I think is 1 hour ahead of GMT which is 8 hours ahead of Pacific time.

Uhh...

Pacific Standard Time is GMT -8. Which means, if CET is one hour ahead of GMT (I'm not sure), then we'd have to subtract nine hours rather than eight.
