Definately doing something different with the bass and kick.
This is not the usual trance percussion i'm used to hearing.

That sounds almost digerdoo-ish.

I think your kick doesn't quite stand out enough. Like you said. You don't have to replace it. Consider a little limiting, and bring it up a tad.

This is definately different. It sounds cool. But I think your overal compression on this track is FAR to harsh. You add elements and then you loose them.

The melodic progression is getting a little spastic. It's good. I guess.

3:06 - Jeeze, put a reverb on that splash. Far too dry. It ends too soon.


I think this track is pretty good. It sounds like there are actual problems with your sequencer at some points at 3.39 -- your kicks and hats studder a bit.



This track REALLY needs less compression. It has no room to breathe and everything is way to squashed.

Give this piece more direction and more attention to mixing and I think you'll have a better piece with a better review. Don't give up though! Keep up the good work!
