How do you all find out about the newest and best tracks?...i'm talking mostly on the internet here, I don't know hardly any people I can talk to about trance. I just got broadband so I'm able to dl a lot more so thats why I'm wondering about this.

Read Trance news sites such as www.trance.nu and Ivibes http://ivibes.itweb.as/

As well as record sites such as www.htfr.co.uk and Trancegate has loads of good trance links and is avery good starting point http://trancegate.x2.nu/

Hope this helps

go through the new release lists at vinyl store. most of 'em let u sample using real player or something like that. otherwise go to official DJ websites and go through their top ten charts and setlists.

1) go to record stores and listen
2) download new compilation cds and essential mixes, sample and pick what songs you like then order the record
3) satellite.com -- tons of music but 98% of it down right sucks.

method 1 gets you major new releases
method 2 gets you the stuff youd normally not hear at a record store, but it takes time and you can't always get the music you hear. essential mixes I think are the best as artists tend to go their own style that way because they can play whatever they want, not what they are allowed to release on cd.

This has nothing to do with the post, but I just wanna say that this forum has been the most useful and relevant for me. I absolutely despise those "rave sites" in which their forums are littered with useless topics like

"I'm bored...what's everyone doing?"
"Who here likes sex?"

Everyone flames everyone else, whenever someone states their opnion. So immature. I'm not going to name any sites, but you guys know what I'm talking about...*cough* ILR *cough*

OK, that's my rant for the day.

For me TrancEaddict is the place to be to find a whack of new tracks aswell as news and views on whether they are worth anything.

Only-Djs.com is an excellent place to preview newly released vynil. They usually have full mixes available to listen to.

Otherwise AudioGalaxy is a good place to get music but they usually don't have the freshest stuff. It takes a bit for enough ppl to share it.

Az

**EDIT** Almost forgot to mention that there are tons are Magazines out there that have reviews of new tracks in a variety of electronic genres. Try MixMag, DJ, Ministry of Sound and many many more.
