In a set we move from one track to another with beatmatching, mixing and stuff.
So suppose the current track is A, and the DJ moves to track B, than the mixer which was playing track A is now free, so cant he use that back again to play track C? |
Well Basstard said one reason, but another is that some people may use a third CDJ for loops, scratching and effects, and may have CDs they use for like acapellas and sounds, and other DJ-tools they may use. They also may be into making mashups, and a third CDJ may help in this. James Zambiela and Eddie Halliwell have been known to use three CDJs.
