Yup.. If you set the root note on for example G then all of the loops you drop are gonna be in G. But beware that not all loops support this feature.. the loops that do are called acidized loops meaning they are created and rendered through acid with a root note property embedded in them hence being able to support the key modification feature. If you make a loop in say.. Reason.. It will not change it's key properties according to acid so your going to have to manaully pitch shift it. Hope this helps.
