trivial question about reason

I'm not quite sure how to word this. is there a way to pan a sample in reason so it goes between channels at a steady rhythm? I've been recording it manually with combinators and it sucks.

yeah that's what I did but it's really uneven and unless there's a way I dont know about it would probably take a while to make it perfect. isn't there some way I can just give it a speed to pan back and forth to?

Best way is to do it by drawing it in. Just use the bars in the drawing window as a refference to get it right.

You could also do it in the NNXT sampler. Load a sample up in the NNXT, and use it's LFO 2 to set the panning and the rate of panning of the sample.

if you've got a midi controller assign the modulation key to the pan button then press record then move the modulation key back and forth as you please. this is how i do it.

Seriously guys you're all doing it the hard way, it's actually really easy. The back of the mixer has a Pan CV in, just hook it up to the LFO output of a Subtractor and hey presto, auto panning!
