Whoa, Bittersweet last year for me brought back some great memories. It was the best party I have ever been to...ever. I had the time of my life there.

Went to see my favourite dj Donald Glaude (and on a lesser note Dj Hype) and they did not disappoint. He completely tore the house down. I had the greatest time. This year's lineup looks spectacular again. Should be a fun night.

Personally, I did not enjoy Bittersweet last year and it was my birthday party too. I think I didn't enjoy it because of the venue and the vibe I found was not that hype. I might take my boyfriend there for his birthday cuz I know he'll want to see Andy C live but he also wants to go see Scott Bond who is at the Guv the same night. Decisions, decisions. Well, really it's his decision. I'm just paying for the tickets.

What is it with all the rumours? I'm getting unfairly hyped up about certain parties and ummm it's kind've annoying...I just want confirmation of who is ACTUALLY slated to come you know? Not just what some people hear...we'll find out eventually I just think it's wrong to speculate (sometimes it's ok, I guess today is just a weird day for me). lol

P.S. I most likely will be hitting up the Bittersweet party, I've heard through various friends that it was REALLY good the past couple of years...and I mean it's Andy C, Dj Dan (haven't heard mistress barbara but I'm told she's pretty good)

WOW promotors need to bring in some new talent. MIstress Barbara and Dj Dan.... Seem to be here all the time.

Ugh, I went to the party last year and I did not enjoy it one bit!!! Better Living Centre was too big a venue for that party. It was cold and I really didn't enjoy the trance that night. God, who was there? Oh, I think Donald Glaude (don't quote me on that). I don't even remember his set, if he was there, cuz I was probably in the drum'n'bass room seeing that I had more fun in there. It was my birthday then too. What really pissed me off though was security - they wouldn't let me take my camera (polaroid joycam) in with me so I had to throw it in a huge garbage pail with other forbidden things. In the end, when I went to look for it, it was gone (of course). Apparently one of the police officers was playing with it. Asshole.

^^^in all honesty, you shouldve known better than to bring a camera - cameras have been basically banned for a couple of years now, with the exception of a few smaller promoters - but ESPECIALLY at the cne.

and i for one loved the fact that it was a little bit cold - it was actually possible to dance and remain comfortable instead of being soaked in sweat.
i was also pleasantly surprised at the vibe in the place, considering i didn't even want to go in the first place...
lifeforce are still the only ones who could throw those huge parties properly - i miss those days.

as for this year, i'm looking forward to a big 19+ party thrown by the boys that know how to make a party work.

I guess it depends on who you talk to and it's up to you to make the best of it. It's funny how when I asked my friends, they were split. Some had an awesome time while others were indifferent. I just got to say that this was the greatest party I have ever been to ...bar none. I had a blast. Cyrous did not disappoint.
Met a lot of people and everyone that was around me were having an insane time. The vibe WAS definately there for us. Got invited to a few afterparties by some really fun people I met there but I didn't end up going because a few of my friends had to go home later, which was a bummer because I could've partied till the next day.
I can't imagine being at another party that would be that good again. The music was completely off the hook, the people were awesome. No complaints for me. Too bad I can't go to Bittersweet this year because I have too many tests and assignments lined up but for those of you who are going, you should have a good time..especially if you like Andy C .
