I had an awesome time and I have to say that I really like TIL as a venue. The layout of the club is really good, the sound is crisp and clean, the staff is nice and friendly and the crowd seems to be friendly and up for it!
I thought Desyn's set last night was pretty good too. I'm not totally into all of the stuff he plays (I like things a little more twisted + driving) but on the whole I thought he was pretty fucking good. Nice fun and funky uplifting party house tunes all night long from Desyn. It would have been nice if he had played a little longer but whatver it's all good.
ps. special k jr aka special j had a blast @ her first 19+ party, so much so that she didnt want to leave haha. and yet another disciple of the house sound is born.

Ended up going there really last minute with fuad but it was totally an awesome party.
Desyn was really impressive, his sound was full and awesome.
I was quite wasted and am having trouble remembering more details, but hey thats what st patty's day is for.

Desyn was on from 1-4. Brad opened and also closed (it went til 5:15). Great tunes from Desyn but he didn't look his best - hope he got some rest today and will be in fine form for Ottawa tonight. Can't wait!

I'm still pretty ticked off...Once again the TIL door bouncers get on my nerves. Got there pretty early; it was around 10:30ish and there was no lineup. Same stuckup guys from last week start giving us shit because my friend's shoes weren't clean enough...and then they said "Oh by the way, it's 22+ tonight." Seriously...STFU!! Since it was early and both Sean and Ally weren't there yet there was nothing we could have done...We even tried convincing them to let us through because it was a friend of ours' birthday...It had absolutely no effect...so after waiting around for 5 minutes we decided to go to Footwork. The music was decent but around 1:30 J Prez totally lost us...His mixing needs alot of work. At one point I realised how much I missed System Soundbar..which killed the mood for me, which wasn't that great to begin with. By 2:30 all my friends leave me, and usually I can have a good time in my own world, but I wasn't feeling it at all. I called it a night about 3 am...and went home pretty upset.

i had an awesome time last night. i thought desyn was great. not the best set i've heard from him - he kinda lost me towards the end - but still totally fun. and he certainly is easy on the eyes. wished he would have played longer than 3 hours, but whatever, we get to see him again tonight in ottawa! god, i'm tired. brad was great as well. anyways...as always, lovely to see everyone out and to meet some new people.
i was *this* close to getting a cd too. so close! pout, pout.
and yeah, i think i definitely like TIL. wish there was no smoking though. and as palatial as the ladies bathrooms are, it's a fucking trek to get up there! found the sound to be a bit too loud, almost painful at times, but i was a dumbass and forgot my earplugs.

Both Desyn Masielo and Brad Copeland rocked last nite!!!! I think Brad Copeland is one of the sickest house DJs around rite now.... his selections have never failed to set me up!! As soon as i entered the joint he was playin some sick ass funky stuff!! I love the setting of the club.... SO MUCH ROOM... such a nice change from being slapped around by sweaty meatheads at the guv!!!! No sketchbags, only people havin tons of fun.... and the bouncers are so much more polite than at the guv... I dunno wat happened to Cribby and friends but i've never even been carded at TIL... juss wear decent shoes next time and the ur sure to have a SICK nite The highlight of the night was when Masielo dropped "Haji and Emanuel - take me away"... I Have NEVER lost it to a track like i did last nite!!!

in order for TIL to have smoking indoors, they had to register as a private club. therefore in order to get inside you have to be a member of this private club..or be a guest of a member. they get their way thru a technicality
desyn was good. copeland was amazing. my legs are wood. i'm sleep. happy birthday liz. great seeing everyone out..and meeting allegory..as well as some others
