Bush Approval Falls to 33%, Congress Earns Rare Praise

It's kind of sad that their approval rates are so low, yet the same old faces keep appearing in D.C. and little of worth gets done.

I know I shouldn't be posting here, but I just. can't. help it.

All congress does is bicker and argue. Democrats blame republicans and republicans blame democrats. We need another henry clay to bring them all together.

Bush & Cheney smeared their own reputation. I really dont like liars whether in my own personal life or running the country. Appearently finally most Americans are waking up to the facts.
The thing that pisses me off over the Iraq war was all the deliberate lies at the beginning, and complete lack of long term planning in order to sell the war. If Bush & Cheney actually fought in Vietnam, unlike Kerry whose military record they cowardly smeared, then may'be they would realize that war is real & not just some multi trillion dollar video game. The facts speak for themselves,; people are dying over there & will likely be for the next 25 years. I would bet the military voters turn on the Republican party before November, especially with most of the war veterans running for congress, running as Democrats.

As for Bush, he is dangerous. Before his first election, I was really put off by the fact that he was a wealthy elite trying to portray himself as an honest down on the ranch American, and by the fact that he pretty much fucked up every business venture he did before he was President. Also does anyone seriously expect Bush to lower oil & gas prices. Asing Bush to police the oil industry is like having a Rottweiler watch your Poodle.

Honestly, I don't approve of most of the DC Democrats either.

prove that he lied. if you can't then shut up. the military adore him (spouses. i can't speak for). the statement "and complete lack of long term planning in order to sell the war." makes no sense whatsoever.

Bush cannot lower gas prices. this is known by most people so no, nobody "seriously cannot expect Bush to lower oil&gas prices".

I wasn't talking about the most recent administration, but rather the congress and people in Washington over my lifetime (roughly 6 presidential terms). Many senators/Congresspeople keep their jobs solely because of name recognition despite the fact that people constantly bitch about their effectiveness or lack thereof. Congressmen become senators, governors become congreesmen and all the while people complain about what they're doing or not doing while casting their vote blindly for their party or some other worthless reason. Some of this is undoubtedly party spew but 1/3rd approval ratings are hardly favorable in any circumstance.
