I hate thieving bastards

So I get a call from my buddy just now and he informs me that his car got broken into. Since he gives me a lift to work most of the time, I also store some of my work kit in his car.

Some bastard broke in and stole both of our work kit. Worth a lot of shiny penny.

Incredibly annoyed right now.

Damn dude... sorry to hear about that. Last summmer when I worked in construction someone broke into one of the other worker's vans and stole their full kit + work belt, was really screwed up. Down with thieves and vandals!

Karma don't pay shit.... but insurance does. Homeowner's insurance or Tennents insurance in this case. If you have either homeowner's or contents (tennents/condo package) you can claim your stolen contents under that.

Since of most of my work kit was issued by my work, I can get them reissued as long as I can prove that there was no negligence in securing the work kit on my part.

I hate paperwork too.
