Progress...feedbac?

Hey...I have been making some good progress, and have plenty of ideas for this..it's filling out nicely! There will be female vocals, acoustic guitar, and some sparse piano chords here and there during the live session...but otherwise, I'm trying to get the synth side of it finished.

How is it sounding? I'm working on transitions...I'm going to do a pitch-shifted and comb-filtered snare fill/roll at the very end of this recording to go into like a middle section before bringing the chorus back.

Thanks a lot! ...I'm still tossing ideas around. I wish I knew more synth. techniques, but I'm learning as I go, and this is my first time so hopefully it will just improve from here. In 2.5 weeks, this track will be completely finalized and all as the session is coming up here in a couple weeks. :-)

In My Honest Opinion

i think it fell a bit off at :22, just the transition didn't snap in properly.

@2:02 you could put in some female vocals for the transition., but try to carry on the feel from 1:58 a bit more, drag it on a lil bit more.

this is REALLY awesome.
promise me you'll make it like at least 8 min long.

Thanks! That's the kind of response I was looking for...something critical. Thanks a lot f4te.

I definitely agree with that transition at :22...I kind of copped-out and put it on the back burner for the moment. I can't make it 8 minutes because it has to be between 3-5 minutes. : \

this is for a class, but it's ultimately for myself, and everyone else (of course).

oh btw, at 1:58, that's going to be going to an interlude section...but you think I should carry it on a bit before I bring in the comb-filtered/pitch-shifted/cut-off frequency'd snare drum roll? I am going to be using some of the reverb tail or a stutter I cut from her vocals to make some rhythms during the interlude.
