my ipod is fine - and in the instruction manual it states that you can not replace it - how ever do you do it?

I heard there was a flaw in the buffer for the larger iPods. If you play long shows, such as radio shows or live sets, the buffer doesnt work properly and it just constantly reads from the hard drive. This really wears down the battery. Happened to a friend of mine, and he said it was a common problem. He was getting max 2 hours out of it.
Can anybody confirm this?

^^^ This happens on all iPods and large files. The older versions would skip like a badass because the harddrive is not fast enough to output the file you want in realtime. I get it all the time.
About your battery stuff, MSN me. Apple charges an exorbitant amount to do it, and if you're out of warranty they will rape your face off to replace it.
Talk to me about any iPods except the new Videos and Nanos, as I don't have batteries for those. But why would your Video or Nano need a battery already anyway, right?

I'm crossing my fingers, but so far my ipod video still lasts about 8-9 hours.
