I'm tired of cheesy vocals as are most ppl on this board. Give me the synths! I'm not talking about tweaker synths that make you bored after 32 bars, but rather a well thought out line that develops into something spectacular. You all know what I mean, when the bass and percussion disappear and all you have is a sweet ass synth line playing. Hope this description helps.
Any recommendations?

Eeeh. Synth > Bass. What does that even mean. Synth is short for synthesizer. A synthesizer is a machine that synthesizes sounds electronically, including bass and percussion.
Plus, bass is the integral part of funkyness. Only a stiff would say that.

Listen to Robert Nickson - Spiral in some headphones.
The melody slowly rises from a deep, lush pad into the breakdown.
