I live with two other girls on the second story of a two story apartment building. About a week and a half ago there was a rape in our complex and the management didnt actually inform the residents until three days ago. "Last Monday there may have been an incident...", except it had been on the front page for three days in a row and the girl went to the hospital for a rape kit test.

Anyways, we've been kind of cautious and stuff because we always come back late from campus (around midnight or 1am), and we usually call each other when we are about to leave to come home so someone knows where we are.

Well now Im totally creeped out because there are new people that moved in right below us, and the one guy that lives there doesnt work, he just stays home all day. And today when I was pulling in to the parking lot he pulled in behind me and sat in his car until I got out. I actually had been sitting in the car waiting for HIM to go in first but he never did. Then he proceeded to do the creepy walk-really-slow-behind-you thing until I got into the building, at which point I ran up the stairs.

Now, what are the chances that this isnt a coincidence that he just moved in and all of a sudden people are getting raped? Even if its not him, he still creeps the hell out of me.

Carry some mace or pepper spray and a cell phone at all times. Maybe it's nothing to worry about, but be safe. The good thing about being a man and walking back from a late class was that no women wanted to rape me. Wait...maybe that was bad.
