Exclamation Playing Movies.

Hey guys,
Ok this is my problem. I cannot play any movies with .m2v extensions. I need all the info i can get to start playing those movies.
The player that i have is Windows Media Player that can play everything else but those annoying .m2v files.
I need some info on how to update my player.

oh yeah and also, what is this codec i've been reading about everywhere???

I would really appreciate any replies...

In the end, WMP did not work, and I downloaded the other suggested player, but the movies were running in "slow-motion"...
Better get more RAM I guess.
Thanks for your help guys...

Ok i went through this problem...so i know what u mean with M2V videos...

I used Elecard but i think that player is garbage.....personally now i use the original WMP (Windows media Player)....it loads quicker and picture is fine and easy to use....not that any of them are hard..but u know what i mean...

but using the codec with Elecard sucks if u wanna warch movies in WMP...mine would either skip frames/pause or just play weird...so someone...and i forgot who gave me a site..which i also forgot...where you can get a codec for M2V or MPEG2 videos....i got it and now it works PERFECT....

so whoever needs this codec lemme know and i will email it to you...its zipped up and like 120k...real small....and it WORKS....
this will end ALL your problems.....

Those are MPEG-2 movies. You need a player that can play MPEG-2...
