Controller Question?

i'm thinking about getting a new MIDI controller (the novation sl61 because its looks absolulely sick) i have an m-audio radium right now...i was wondering, is it possible to play two MIDI controllers at once on different tracks? it'd be so awesome to be able to play a bass on one track (via midi controller #1) and a melody on the second (via midi controller #2)

thanks for your help!

Quick and easy: yes! Although this wasn't possible with fl5, but with fl6 this has become possible. And as far as I know all other mayor sequencers allow this.

thx for the response! i'm using cubase sx3 as my sequencer. Would both controllers need to connect through USB, or does old fashioned MIDI ports work too? (if you wonder why i still prefer MIDI, i've had problems in the past with usb cancelling out (i don't know why) and never had a problem with midi b4, its just always on.

Just set midi input to "use all available ports" on your midi channel (usually it's selected by default). You can also use a program like Midi-Ox to merge the notes into a single channel.
