I'm sure they will be ok. They were on my short list when I got my monitors though in the end I went for Tapco S5's. I think the M1's would have been my second choice though. Personally I liked their sound.
It's all subjective though, a mastering engineer will tell you they are shit while a noob will tell you they are the best monitors ev0r. From most accounts they have a fairly clear sound but over-emphasise the bass... which may leave your mixes a bit bass-light? Probably fine as long as your not doing d'n'b/breaks or psytrance.
Like any of the cheap monitors, you'll need a lot of hours to tune your ears to them. Once you know how they translate to other systems, you'll be pulling good mixes out of them.
