Car Audio -> Home Audio.

okay, heres whats up. i just sold my car to my buddy, but i kept the system. now i am without car, but thats no real issue, everything i need is in walking distance. what is the issue, is how im going to get these subs:

to function in my barracks room.

i have my amp, inputs and outputs here:

and i need to know how to get power to this sucker. i know ill need a transformer, as the amp takes in DC power, and the wall gives me AC power. has anyone done this? heard of this being done? this doesnt need to be done, but man it would be fun.

Sealed boxes > bandpass

And no you are wrong. Home theaters are of a higher fidelity than car.

And to answer your question, get a converter that can handle the wattage that your amp beats out

I misread the title. Not car audio > home audio but one to the other.

But you will pay through the nose for a high power one. Most are only 10-15 watts. This one can go upto 100

you need a power inverter, and a pretty massive one too. that's gonna cost you a shitload.

also, get rid of that p.o.s. bandpass box. it pains me to hear sound come out of those. sealed is gonna be ideal for home audio like someone else said.

good luck bro..
